Why one-on-one

A class of forty moves at one speed. Your child shouldn't have to.

Most students who "aren't good at maths" missed one building block a year or two ago. Big coaching batches never go back for it. We do.

Typical coaching class

  • 30–60 students, one pace for everyone
  • Doubts wait until after class, or never get asked
  • Same notes for every board
  • Parents hear about problems at exam results
  • Fixed batch timings and travel time

Origin 360°

  • One student, one tutor, a plan built around their gaps
  • Doubts answered in class, and on WhatsApp between classes
  • Board-specific preparation and past-paper practice
  • Clear practice instructions for parents when a topic needs work
  • Timings that fit your week, at home or online
Boards we teach

Five boards. Five different exams. One tutor who knows each.

Each board tests maths differently. Preparation is matched to your child's syllabus, textbook and paper pattern.

Cambridge International

IGCSE Mathematics

Cambridge IGCSE rewards clear working and problem-solving across unfamiliar contexts. We prepare students for the right tier and build the habit of showing method marks, with plenty of past-paper practice under timed conditions.

Cambridge IGCSE MathematicsCore & ExtendedPast-paper practice

Focus areas

  • Choosing Core vs Extended with confidence
  • Calculator and non-calculator technique
  • Functions, vectors, transformations
  • Topic-wise past papers and mark schemes
The Origin 360 method

Four quadrants. One full circle.

Every student moves through the same loop, at their own pace, until the topic is fully understood.

STEP 01Quadrant I

Diagnose

A relaxed first session to find where understanding actually breaks down, not just which chapter is next.

STEP 02Quadrant II

Build

Rebuild concepts from the origin, with visuals and real reasoning instead of memorised steps.

STEP 03Quadrant III

Practise

Graded practice from textbook to board-level, then timed past papers in the exam's real format.

STEP 04Quadrant IV

Review

Regular check-ins in class, with practice instructions for parents when a topic needs more work. Weak spots go back into the loop until they're strong.

Meet your tutor

Hi, I'm Dominic.

"No child is bad at maths. They've usually just been rushed past the origin."

I trained as an architect, with a Bachelor of Architecture from Goa College of Architecture. Architecture runs on geometry, proportion and logic, and it taught me to see maths as something you build, one solid layer at a time.

I started Origin 360 in October 2025 to teach maths that way: one student at a time, starting from what they already know and building outward until every angle of a topic makes sense. Today I teach 13 students, and I'm proud that their grades have climbed a notch every semester.

I teach Grades 7 to 10 across IGCSE, ICSE, CBSE, SSC and NIOS, at students' homes in Goa and online over Google Meet. Whether your child is aiming for a top score or just wants to stop dreading maths, we'll get there together.

Questions

Frequently asked.

Is the demo class free?

It's free if you go ahead with classes. The demo is a full session where Dominic gets to know your child's level and you see how classes work. If you decide not to continue, there's a small charge to cover travel and time.

Which grades and boards do you teach?

Grades 7 to 10, across IGCSE (Cambridge), ICSE, CBSE, Goa Board SSC and NIOS.

Which areas do you cover for home tuition?

Home classes are within about 5 km of Porvorim, and in some cases up to 10 km. If you're further away, live online classes on Google Meet work just as well.

Do you offer group or batch classes?

Classes are 1-on-1 so every session is built around your child. If siblings or close friends want to study together, just ask.

How do online classes work?

Classes run live on Google Meet, so your child can see every step and ask questions as they go. All you need is a laptop or tablet and a stable internet connection.

How many classes a week, and what are the fees?

Most students take two to three classes a week, each 1 to 1½ hours depending on age and attention span. Extra slots are available when the schedule allows. Fees are shared on request: message on WhatsApp.

My child is already in Grade 10. Is it too late?

Not at all. Board-year students get a focused plan that prioritises high-weightage chapters, fixes the most costly gaps first, and builds in timed paper practice before the exam.
